• Designed to fit the needs of a couple who work in the food and drinks industry, Randolph Road is a subtle, high specification kitchen that nods to the beautiful 1950’s building it sits within.

A palette of amber stained cherry, brushed stainless steel and reclaimed verde marble are complemented by Artemide task lighting, speckled porcelain tiles, and a commercial style range.

We opened up the space by replacing bulky wall cabinets with light floating shelves, recouping storage through a large full height pantry and better defined under counter cabinetry. A moveable ‘pasta making table’ gives the clients greater flexibility and additional storage.

  • All cabinetry was designed and built in our Glasgow workshop. Internal carcasses were constructed with moisture resistant MDF - recognisable by its striking green tone. Doors were made from high grade cherry veneer with 3mm solid cherry edging.

The solid stainless worktop was laser cut to size, with a brushed top finish and polished edges.

The solid marble shelving on either side of the extractor cupboard uses a hidden fixing method, removing the need for brackets. Task lights are clamped on each piece, providing movable, directional lighting across the workspace.

Stainless steel details were used throughout - lathe-turned door pulls, a utensil bar that runs the width of the room, and elegant tap ware from ABI Interiors.
